This static website is being developed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target. The project favours semantic HTML, keyboard operation, visible focus, responsive reflow and content that does not depend on images or colour alone.
Measures included
- A skip link, landmarks and a logical heading structure.
- Native links, buttons and disclosure elements rather than simulated controls.
- Two-tone keyboard focus indicators that remain visible on light and dark surfaces.
- Text and control colour pairs checked against documented contrast thresholds.
- Responsive layouts tested from 320px through large desktop widths.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative duplicates.
- Reduced-motion support and no autoplaying media.
Testing status
Dependency-free structure, content, contrast, reflow and image checks are included in the repository. Playwright, axe and Lighthouse checks are configured for the first networked dependency installation and GitHub Actions. Results must be reviewed before production approval.
Known limitations
The supplied business information does not include a verified physical-access audit. This website does not claim that the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Visitors should call Tanskeys to discuss the entrance, seating and toilet arrangements relevant to them.
The logo used in this build is a draft trace of a small social-media image and should be replaced with the approved vector master when supplied.
Reporting a problem
Until a verified public email address and legal operator are supplied, accessibility questions can be raised by calling 0151 625 3882.
